Ocean View Hotel Rocky Harbour, Rocky Harbour

The hotel has a nice ocean view if you're on the second floor; however, the lack of privacy due to facing the parking lot was a downside. The room layout with a wall between the bedroom and sitting area was not worth the cost paid.

I found the hotel to be perfect for those seeking an ocean view room, despite the challenge of getting an upstairs one. The location was great for us, especially with our baby and dog, and being able to park right outside the room made access easy. The view across the harbor and the Rocky Harbor Heritage vibe added to the charm, although checking in late afternoon was a slight downside. The dining experience was good, and the hotel's facilities were satisfactory.

The hotel offers spacious and clean rooms but lacks an elevator and assistance with luggage, typical of establishments in western Newfoundland and Labrador. The location within Gros Morne National Park is ideal for daily hikes, providing stunning ocean views from the second floor. Dining options could be improved, but overall, the value for money is good.
